School Closings

During the winter months, ice or snow may lead to school closings or early dismissals. These decisions are made with student safety as the top priority and are typically determined early in the morning. In the rare event of an early dismissal, the decision is generally made by 10:00 A.M.

Parents and guardians will be notified through multiple communication channels. Announcements will be posted on the district website, and automated phone calls, text messages, and emails will be sent using the Apptegy notification system.

In the event of an early dismissal due to weather or another emergency, every effort will be made to contact families as promptly as possible. Please ensure that all contact information is up to date in PowerSchool so you receive timely notifications.
