Bulldog Families,
You’re invited to help shape the future of the Glassboro Public School District.
The district is creating a new Strategic Plan, a roadmap for the next several years. The district wants our committee to reflect the whole community: parents and guardians, students, staff, and residents, including those without children in school.
Over three evenings this winter, participants will meet in small groups, with help from the New Jersey School Boards Association, to answer three questions:
Thursday, January 21, 2027: Where are we now?
Thursday, February 18, 2027: Where do we want to be in three to five years?
Tuesday, March 9, 2027: How will we get there?
All three sessions start at 6:00 p.m. in the Glassboro High School Media Center, 550 Joseph Bowe Blvd. We ask participants to attend all three.
You don't need any background in education or planning. What matters is your experience of our schools and our community.
To take part, share your interest through the short form on the Strategic Plan website by Friday, November 20, 2026: HERE
Because the sessions are built around small-group discussions, space is limited. We'll invite participants from everyone who shares their interest, making sure parents and guardians, staff, students, and community members are all represented.
Students in grades 5 through 12 are welcome to share their interest. Students should fill out the form with a parent or guardian.
Please pass this invitation along to anyone you think should be part of the conversation.
If you have questions, email strategicplan@gpsd.us. We hope you'll join us.
Sincerely,
Al Lewis, Ed.D., Superintendent of Schools
Michael Sloan, Business Administrator/Board Secretary
Co-Chairs, Strategic Planning Committee
