Mrs. Susan Kornicki began her teaching career in Glassboro in 1990 and spent 27 wonderful years as a classroom teacher at Thomas E. Bowe School. In 2016, she transitioned into the role of Technology Coordinator and Coach, designing professional development experiences that integrate high-quality pedagogy with effective use of digital tools. Since 2020, Mrs. Kornicki has served as the Supervisor of Educational Technology, Visual & Performing Arts, and World Languages for Glassboro Public Schools. She is passionate about collaborating with teachers and students to make learning more engaging, meaningful, and productive through the thoughtful use of technology.
A proud Philadelphia native, Mrs. Kornicki grew up performing in school plays as a dancer, singer, and stage actor. Her love of the arts continues today through her support and leadership in GPSD’s Visual and Performing Arts programs.
Outside of school, Mrs. Kornicki enjoys supporting her two children in their academic and musical journeys. Her daughter is an Environmental Engineer in Manhattan, a flutist in a New York-based marching band and wind ensemble, and a student at Seton Hall University School of Law. Her son recently graduated with an Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he played saxophone in the Marching Band of the Fighting Irish. He will attend Villanova Law School this fall.
Mrs. Kornicki also loves traveling with her husband—especially to visit their children or discover new cities—and is a proud dog mom to her two German Shepherds, Benny and Franklin.
