Glassboro Special Education Advisory Group

Mission Statement

Glassboro School District Special Education Parent Advisory Group is an organization designed to facilitate collaboration among parents, guardians, teachers, child study team members, administration, and the community to enhance the education of students who are receiving Special Education services.

SEPAG hosts informative parent meetings throughout the year on various topics of interest pertaining to Special Education and child development. In addition, SEPAG will provide information to parents concerning programs and services available to families and students through its website and invited speakers.  Advocates are also encouraged to propose guest speakers or make suggestions for possible topics for future meetings.

If you are interested in participating in our parent organization, please contact Catherine Torbik, Director of Special Services.

Goals And Objectives

SEPAG is dedicated to bringing families and staff members together to form a unified network of information and support for those who are involved in Special Education through the development of workshops and internet resources, as well as providing information about community events that may be of interest.

SEPAG believes that it takes a strong community to foster effective Special Education programs and dedicates itself to programming positive and proactive education that facilitates understanding and unity.
