We are thrilled to welcome Paul J. Berardelli as the new Assistant Principal at Glassboro High School. Growing up in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Paul’s journey has been marked by dedication and a passion for education.
He attended Villanova University on a football scholarship, where he honed his leadership skills both on and off the field. A highlight of his athletic career was playing for Buddy Ryan on the 1989 Philadelphia Eagles, a testament to his commitment and talent. Paul also spent time in training camps with the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings and played for the London Monarchs in NFL Europe.
After a brief professional football career, Paul transitioned into education, beginning as a special education teacher and coach at Delsea Regional High School. Driven by his passion for learning, he returned to school and earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Wilmington University.
Over the past 27 years, Paul has served as an administrator in the Delsea Regional High School district, spending 19 years as Vice Principal and 8 years as Building Principal. After retiring from Delsea on March 1, 2025, he quickly realized how much he missed the educational environment.
Paul is honored, humbled, and excited to embark on this new chapter in the Glassboro High School district. He values the tight-knit community of Glassboro and looks forward to contributing to its success.
On a personal note, Paul resides in Pittsgrove, New Jersey, and is the proud father of three amazing adult children. His enthusiasm for education and dedication to fostering a positive learning environment make him a valuable addition to our school community.
