J. Harvey Rodgers School Names Amanda Fordyce as Teacher of the Year!

Congratulations to Amanda Fordyce, J. Harvey Rodgers School’s Teacher of the Year!

Fordyce teaches kindergarten, and she started her job in the Glassboro School District in September 2014.

Each year, she organizes a Career Day at Rodgers.

Acting Principal Danielle Sochor notes, “Amanda has a great disposition with children.”

Fordyce graduated from Albright College in 2008, but she hasn’t stopped learning! Last May, she became Orton-Gillingham Certified, and she used that certification to tutor students this past summer.

She will be honored at a County Luncheon in April and a Board of Education Meeting later in the school year.
