Thomas E. Bowe School Announces Its Top Five Scorers in the New Jersey Math League Contest

2022 NJ Math League Competition Winners at Bowe

Nearly 30 Glassboro sixth-graders from Thomas E. Bowe School’s Accelerated Math Program competed in the New Jersey Math League Contest at school on February 22. The contest required intense focus and attention to problem solving. Students were given 30 minutes to answer 35 challenging questions from a variety of math categories. Thomas E. Bowe School Accelerated Math Advisor Vanessa Poggioli (far right) awarded certificates to the top five scorers in the school. Dylan Adams (third from right) and Chance Perino (second from the left) tied for first place, while Ryan Gendaszek (second from right), Cole Liparota (third from left), and Ellie Whitaker (far left) tied for second. Next month, the students will learn how they fared against competitors from other schools in the county.

Congratulations to all students who participated!
