Glassboro Sixth-Graders Selected for Honors Concerts

Glassboro sixth-graders Daniella Roh (left) and Carter Griffin (right) recently distinguished themselves as honors musicians. Roh, a violinist, was selected for and played in the All South Jersey Junior High Orchestra. The concert took place at Rowan University on January 6. Griffin, a timpanist, was selected for the Olympic Conference Junior High Honors Band.  That band will perform in concert on January 30, 7:30 p.m., at Washington Township High School. The students attend Thomas E. Bowe School, where Roh studies under the direction of Orchestra Director Rachel Johns and Griffin studies under the direction of Band Director Dave Fox.
