GHS Announces Its September 2021 Sports Hall of Fame Inductees

Congratulations to the September 2021 Glassboro High School Sports Hall of Fame Inductees - Tickets and Advertising Available Now


The Glassboro High School Sports Hall of Fame Committee will induct top-notch athletes and coaches into the GHS Sports Hall of Fame at its 5:30 p.m. dinner banquet at Masso’s in Glassboro on Thursday, September 30. The 2021 GHS Sports Hall of Fame inductees include the 1964 Glassboro High School Football Team, which won the 1964 Olympic Conference Championship; Coach Bruce Farquhar, Lauren Keller, a 2011 graduate; James Brown, 2009; Lamere Buchanan, 2009; Ryan Chance, 2009; Ali Ejaz, 2009; Kearstin Meyer, 1998; June Cioffi, 1990; Pete DiBenedetto, 1980; and Greg Farrow, 1969.

The GHS Sports Hall of Fame Committee invites the public to attend the banquet. Tickets to the event are $50 each and should be purchased in advance. Businesses, friends/family members and the community can also make donations or purchase advertisements for the banquet program. Advertising copy and payments are due by August 30. “The GHS Sports Hall of Fame looks forward to a fall 2021 induction banquet to recognize new inductees and celebrate the 45th anniversary of our first induction ceremony. The ceremony gives the Glassboro community a chance to celebrate the accomplishments of individuals and teams. Through the years, the banquet has also given Glassboro graduates a great opportunity to reunite with classmates,” said committee chairperson Dave Kalapos.
