Glassboro Public School District Welcomes New Business Office Leadership

Glassboro Schools started December with a new direction in its Business Department. The district officially welcomed School Business Administrator Lisa Ridgway and Senior School Accountant Christian Albadine to the GPSD Beach Administration Building on December 1.

GPSD Superintendent Mark Silverstein said, “Bringing Lisa and Christian into the district is a proud moment for Glassboro. It reflects on the district’s ability to recruit highly skilled financial professionals to build on Glassboro’s successes to date.”

Ridgway joins the district with more than 27 years in a school business environment. She comes to the district from Cherry Hill Schools, where she served as the Asst. School Business Administrator/Asst. Board Secretary. Prior to that, Ridgway worked as the Asst. Business Administrator/Board Secretary/Purchasing Agent in the Gloucester Township School District. Early in her career, she got her start in school accounting through a payroll position.

Ridgway holds a Master of Science in Management from Thomas Edison State College and is certified as a NJ School Business Administrator and Qualified Purchasing Agent.

Ridgway said, “It is exciting to be a new member of the Glassboro School community. This district is small but mighty. I look forward to working with all stakeholders to support the mission and goals of the district.”

Prior to coming to Glassboro, Albadine was an Audit Associate for Bowman and Company LLP.

Albadine noted, “My experience as a governmental auditor allowed me to gain a background in school district accounting. I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to work in Glassboro Schools.”
