Glassboro High School Students Perform in Olympic Conference Honors Band Concert

Eight Glassboro High School students earned seats and performed in the Olympic Conference Senior High Honors Band Concert this winter. They earned their seats through competitive auditions with students across South Jersey. The GHS musicians included (above, left - right) bassoonist Logan Stockl, percussionist Andrew Petrany, Bb clarinetist Brenna Somdahl-Sands, Eb clarinetist Alicia Petrany, Bb clarinetist Gabriella Randazzo, trumpeters Kai Salugao and Douglas Tranz, and alto clarinetist Anna Holland.

At GHS, the students study with band director Art Myers, who is also the school district’s Fine and Performing Arts Academy coordinator. Myers conducted this year’s Olympic Conference Junior High Honors Band, while Ed Downs conducted the Olympic Conference Senior High Honors Band. The students are pictured below with Myers (center).
