Glassboro Board of Education Swears in Student Board Representatives

Seniors Owen Anderson and Morgan DiPatri Will Serve as Student BOE Representatives

 

Glassboro Board of Education President Pete Calvo swore-in two student board representatives at the September 25 BOE Meeting. This year’s student BOE representatives are Glassboro High School seniors Owen Anderson and Morgan DiPatri (pictured above). As student board representatives, Anderson and DiPatri will meet with Superintendent Mark J. Silverstein monthly to keep up to date on issues before the board, attend board meetings, and provide student feedback to the BOE.

 

Anderson is the Executive President of the GHS Student Government Association and was class president during his freshman, sophomore, and junior years. He is involved in the Glassboro School District STEM Academy, Engineering Club, and Jazz Band. DiPatri is the Executive Vice President of the GHS SGA. She serves as president of the Interact and Renaissance Clubs and is a member of the Philosophy Club and Drama Club. From 2017 – 2018, she competed as a lawyer on the award-winning Glassboro High School Mock Trial Team.
