Golf for Glassboro Education! Golfers, sponsors and supporters are invited to sign-up for the Glassboro Education Foundation’s Annual Golf Outing and Dinner to benefit Glassboro Public Schools. The event will take place on Friday, May 31 at Valleybrook Country Club in Blackwood. Registration begins at 1 p.m.  Tee off is at 2 p.m.  Dinner will follow at 7 p.m. and will feature an awards ceremony and prizes. For the first time, the organization will offer a hole-in-one contest with a grand prize of $10,000. Contest rules and limitations apply.

Registration forms are available at http://www.glassboroed.org/events.php. For more information contact John LaPalomento at 609-221-0869 or  jlapalom@gmail.com.

Individual golfers can register for the outing at a cost of $115. This includes golf, cart, a hot dog ticket for lunch, refreshments throughout the day, and dinner. Individuals who do not golf can still support GEF by attending the post-golf dinner at a cost of $40 or by making a tax deductible donation. Sponsorship opportunities (with recognition) are available: hole sponsor - $100, banner sponsor - $300, corporate sponsor - $700.

Proceeds from the outing support GEF’s mission to sponsor innovative projects in Glassboro Public Schools. GEF is a non-profit organization that supplements public funding to Glassboro Public Schools.  GEF uses a competitive application process to award grants that provide seed money for educational projects. The goal of these grants is to incubate new tools and techniques that ultimately enrich student knowledge in ways not otherwise available.
