Glassboro High School Senior Receives National Honor Society Scholarship
Glassboro High School senior Pariti Sutaria recently received a 2018-2019 National Honor Society Scholarship for $5,625. Sutaria will attend the University of Rochester this fall, where she will major in statistics. She received additional scholarships from the Hoffman DiMuzio Community Service Scholarship Foundation and the university.
At GHS, Sutaria serves as the president of the National Honor Society, executive vice president of the Student Government Association, vice president of the National Art Honor Society, student representative to the Glassboro Board of Education, and captain of the Varsity Tennis Team. She leads the SGA’s Student Life Committee and is a member of the Glassboro Public School District STEM Academy, Engineering Club and Yoga Club.
Sutaria recently achieved the highest award available in Girl Scouts, the Girl Scout Gold Award. For her Gold Award project, she wrote and self-published the book, "Researching Childhood Educational Development." In her spare time, she serves on the Ronald McDonald House’s Teen Advisory Council.
