Glassboro Students Celebrated Homecoming by Giving to Others
Glassboro High School students celebrated Homecoming by giving of themselves this year. In grade-level competitions leading up to Homecoming, the students collected more than $450 for the Ronald McDonald House and more than 300 items for the local food bank.
For Spirit week, the school held special dress up days, including: Meme Day, Destination Day, Maroon and Gold Day, Pink Day and College Day. On Homecoming Day, band members, floats with students and cars with the Homecoming Court and Queen paraded down Carpenter Street and Bowe Boulevard to the high school. Representatives from each grade level performed skits for the Homecoming judges as parents and classmates cheered them on! This year’s Homecoming Queen and Court included Homecoming Queen Amani Waters, first-runner up Trinity McAllister and Anaya Belcher, Olivia Beltran, Lateesha Fooks, Brenna Higgs, Devon Pritchett, Nicole Schmittinger, Gara Tohanczyn, and Marlaisha Young.
