Glassboro School District Presents Its 5th Annual Literacy Conference on Wed., August 29

Sign-up today for Glassboro's 5th Annual Literacy Conference featuring keynote speaker, David A. Kilpatrick Ph.D. Kilpatick is the author of "Essentials of Assessing, Preventing and Overcoming Reading Difficulties" and "Reading Success: A Comprehensive, Step-by-Step Program for Deveolping Phonemic Awareness and Fluent Word Recognition." He is a New York state certified school psychologist for the East Syracuse-Minoa Central School District as well an assistant professor of psychology for the State University of New York at Cortland.

 

The conference will provide two hours of professional development, which can be used toward dyslexia education requirements. Certificates will be awarded. Get there at 8 a.m. to check in and enjoy a free breakfast! The conference will also feature free giveaways and a vendor fair.

 

Staff from other school districts are welcome; see the registration form for pricing and additional details. Glassboro Schools District staff and Glassboro parents can attend the conference for free.
