The Glassboro High School Business Leadership Academy offers opportunities for students to pursue coursework in business-related fields starting in 9th grade. Featuring several optional pathways, the Business Leadership Academy allows students to gain experience in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Management, Economics, and general business. In partnership with Rowan University, academy students will attend University Classes on Rowan’s campus located directly across the street from the high school for university credits.

Student learning experiences in the Business Leadership Academy include participation in Rowan University’s “Think Like an Entrepreneur” summer program, which is free of charge with the ability to earn 3 college credits.  In addition, Academy students will gain exposure and experience in Saxby’s Campus Café, a fully student-operated café located on Rowan University’s campus.

Students who successfully complete the 4-year Business Leadership Academy and meet University criterium will gain automatic acceptance into Rowan’s Rohrer College of Business.

All applications are due on 11/25/24.

NOTE: Glassboro students who apply for the Business Academy will be notified during spring break of their acceptance status into the program. Out of district students that apply into the Business Academy will be notified by the winter break.
