Drama class is a place where students are able to express themselves freely and confidently. This class introduces students to the fundamental skills of the physical and emotional elements of acting while developing public speaking techniques. Students will gain lifelong skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, resume building, auditioning/job interivew process (for theatre or an outside of theatre career), communications, and all aspects of the entertainment field. Includes: team and ensemble building, relaxation and concentration practices, theatre history, scene and monologue work, choreography and movement-based physciality, professional theatre vocabulary.
Ms. Tatulli believes in the process over product in her student-centered classroom. All students are able to express themselves creatively and comfortably. It is not how you start but how you finish, and how you grew throughout that process. “I am not just training performers, I am training future nurses, truck drivers, lawyers, customer service reps., and everything in between.”
