Danielle Williams, LAT ATCCertified Athletic TrainerWhat is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)?
Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) are health care professionals who collaborate with physicians. The services provided by ATCs include, but are not limited to; prevention, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.
ATCs improve patient functional and physical outcomes.
ATC's specialize in patient education to prevent injury and re-injury, which reduces rehabilitative and other health care costs.
Our goal: To provide the best possible healthcare for our student athletes with an emphasis on injury prevention. We believe the best way to achieve this is by educating our athletes, parents and coaches.
