Glassboro Intermediate School

    Student Council Association

    Purpose, Pride and Progress”

The Glassboro Intermediate School Council will provide the main forum for discussing student concerns and ideas. In addition, council members will be responsible for representing and serving the needs of the school and community.

Students will use this platform to become active members of the community and develop their leadership skills. The program will also focus heavily on building Bulldog Pride through fundraisers, dances and pep rallies. Ways in which SGA currently builds pride:

    •  Spirit Week
    •  African American Assembly
    •  Pep Rallies
    •  Camden County Animal Shelter Visit and Collection
    •  Team Building Trips
    •  Grandparents Gone Wired – Senior Education Events

In efforts to raise funds for school activities and make progress towards the above stated goals, the following is a list of fundraisers and socials run by Student Council.

    ·         Matchmaker

    ·         Sales of Bulldog Gear

    ·         Yankee Candles

    ·         Help students grow to be leaders of their community

    ·         Safeguard the ideas of democracy by developing a genuine regard for law and government

    ·         Foster and promote a shared sense of pride and ownership in the school and community
