     Information for Parents:

    • Please remember to notify the school when your child will be absent. This will save a lot of unnecessary telephone calls in the mornings. It is also important that you provide a reason for the absence. This alerts us to possible trends in communicable illness and allows us to plan accordingly.
    • Parents of fifth-grade students may want to begin scheduling appointments to obtain the required Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) & Meningococcal vaccines for their children. All sixth-grade students are required to have these vaccines prior to entering school in September. The vaccines will need to be administered after the 11th birthday, so if your child does not turn 11 prior to September, you will need to contact me.
    • Please remember to obtain a physician's note for all immunizations your child receives so that I can update health records accordingly. Please also copy the vaccination card provided with your child's COVID vaccines for your child's records.
    • All changes in emergency contact information must be reported throughout the school year.
    • Please refer to the DISTRICT NURSE page for all updated COVID directives.
