- Mrs. Noble's Story
-
Hello! I am Mrs. Noble and this is my 19th year of teaching and my 14th year in Glassboro. I am an 8th-grade Language Arts teacher. I hold certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Middle School Language Arts grades 5-9. We are in our 4th year of our Wit and Wisdom Language Arts program, and it has been quite successful with our 8th grade state test scores continually rising. I love teaching this age group and enjoy learning about what they love, what motivates them, and what they want to achieve. My students are like my own kids, as I tell them all the time. I want them to try their best, make good choices, and believe they can do anything and have anything they want in life.On a personal note, here is some information about me. I am a graduate of Bensalem High School in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. After high school, I attended the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Communications and minoring in History. I worked in advertising for a few years and decided it was not for me. I come from a long line of teachers and finally decided it was truly a calling for me as well. I enrolled in Rider University's teacher certification program for graduate school for both Elementary and Special Education certifications.I live in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and am a mom of three kids. My oldest son is pursuing an MBA in Florida and works for the Miami Dolphins. My daughter is a college junior at Florida Atlantic University. (GO Owls!) My youngest is a sophomore in high school and plays lacrosse. (GO Cougars!) My husband just retired after 26 years of teaching and works for an Educational Technology company creating and implementing STEM programs around the country. I love to travel, especially to Florida to see my kids, as well as going to the beach and boardwalk in the summers.Hopefully, 2024-2025 will be memorable for your kids as we work to prepare them for high school! Please make sure your kids arrive each day with a charged laptop and supplies needed to learn and succeed. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me at inoble@gpsd.us.Mrs. Noble"Your work will fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle."
