• Welcome to a new and exciting school year! This year I am teaching seventh grade Language Arts and Writing. This is my 14th year teaching in Glassboro. I graduated from Rowan University in 2005 with a Master's Degree in Special Education, a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and a Bachelor's degree in American Studies. I am qualified to teach Language Arts, Social Studies (History), Math, and Science for grades 6-8.

After graduating from Rowan University, I spent the next two years teaching in West Deptford. I spent a year teaching 8th grade Math and Language Arts at WDMS and 6 months teaching Algebra I and Geometry at WDHS. In 2007, I was hired to teach Math at GIS. Since my hire, I have taught Math, Language Arts, Social Studies and Science in both seventh and eighth grade.

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my wife Rachel and our fuzzy family. We have yellow lab named Hilton and two cats named Hoggle and Jareth. I also enjoy playing video games in my spare time and enjoy playing RPG's and Action games. My favorite games are Fallout 4, Dragon Age: Origins, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla. I am also an avid reader and am a huge fan of horror novels. I have nicknamed my home office the Nerd Cave and it is filled with an enormous Funko Pop collection and various replica props from the Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Fallout.

Finally, if you have any questions throughout the year, please do not hestate to contact me. The best way to reach me is through email, which is jbudmen@gpsd.us
