Welcome to a new and exciting school year! My name is Jen Budmen and this is my 16th year teaching in Glassboro. This year, I am teaching 7th Grade Language Arts, 8th Grade Math, and 6th Grade Social Studies.

I graduated from Rowan University in 2005, earning an MA in Special Education, a BA in Elementary Education, and a BA in American Studies. In 2006, I started my teaching career in West Deptford but found the commute to be too long. In 2008, I was hired to teach at Glassboro Intermediate School. During my tenure at GIS, I taught math, language arts, social studies, and science in both seventh and eighth grade.

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Rachel, and our fluffy family. We have two adorable cats named Hoggle and Jareth. I am the Cool Aunt to three nifty niblings. I'm an avid gamer and reader. I enjoy playing RPGs and action games, such as Fallout 4, Skyrim, Bioshock, and Dragon Age. I love reading fantasy and horror stories. Finally, I collect Funko Pops and have a vast collection in my classroom and my home office, which I have nicknamed the Nerd Cave.
