The office of the Chief Academic Officer directly supports the Mission of the school district in several key ways. We support the implementation of rigorous, content knowledge rich, student centered curriculum in grades pk-12. We work with our teaching and support staff to provide the very best professional development, equipping staff with the necessary tools to deliver high-quality instruction to our students. We work collaboratively with building administrators to create a system of professional evaluation aimed at increasing our collective capacity to deliver high quality instruction to all of our students.

The Curriculum and Instruction Team (C&I) works with administrators, teachers, and support staff to carefully study core philosophies of each grade level and discipline, align our district Mission to New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) and acknowledge and appreciate the diverse interests, abilities and learning styles of all of our students.
