    Dear Parents/Guardians:
Each year, more mathematics is needed to be successful in nearly every job and endeavor.  The skills learned in math will enable your son or daughter to live a more productive life as well as to go on to other academic courses.  Remember, to read the Program Planning Guide for specific prerequisites required to continue on to the next math course.
The most successful students are those who take responsibility for their own progress.  So, help your son or daughter grow in self-motivation and in developing good study habits such as promptly doing the homework, preparing for class and tests, taking notes, and working with a study partner or buddy.
Your interest and support are extremely helpful.  Show your interest in your child’s progress by keeping track of results on homework, tests, and other assignments on Progress Book.  I help the class stay on track by using Remind.com to inform them of upcoming assignments and tests.  If you have any questions about your son’s or daughter’s progress in math, please check my Remind by texting 81010 @ af99h2 for Integrated Alg 1 or @561d7 for Honors Calculus.  Also, check you child's IXL.com account and my Google Classroom @ dqienzd for Integrated Alg 1 or x6xuqtd for Honors Calculus.
Let us look forward to a year in which your child will have a successful experience in math that will contribute to a promising future. Remember:  "Education is the best investment that you can give your child because the profits are gained and you cannot go bankrupt" (Buensalido).  Thank you in advance for your time and support J
