• My name is Jen Budmen and I have been teaching in Glassboro since 2008. I graduated from Rowan University in 2005 with an MST in Education, a BA in Special Education, and a BA in American Studies. After graduation, I took a teaching position in West Deptford, teaching Algebra I and Biology I at West Deptford High School. In 2008, I became a math teacher at Glassboro Intermediate School and during my tenure at GIS, I taught ELA, Math, History, and Science. I am certified to teach multiple subjects, but my absolute favorite is ELA.

  • Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing video games, and reading. I married my wife, Rachel, in 2011, and we have two fluffy sons named Hoggle and Jareth. Rachel and I love taking road trips to historical places, such as Gettysburg, PA, Williamsburg, VA, and Salem, MA. We also love attending the PA Renaissance Fair in the fall!

  • Finally, I am an avid reader and my favorite genres are horror, fantasy, and science fiction stories. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Joe Hill, Darcy Coates, Hailey Piper, Grady Hendrix, and Ania Ahlborn. I am also a passionate gamer (Xbox). My favorite games are Fallout 4, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, and Far Cry. My gamescore is 348,392.
