Additional Information - Dependents Under 26
Federal health care reform requires plans to offer coverage to all dependents up to age 26, regardless of the dependent child’s financial dependency, marital status, student status and residency with the participant or any other person. The dependent is not eligible to enroll if they are eligible for other group coverage. Coverage for dependents that are enrolled in the Glassboro Board of Education health plan ends on the last day of the month of their 26th birthday. This option is not available for dental coverage. Coverage for dependents that are enrolled in the Glassboro Board of Education dental plan ends on the last day of the calendar year of their 23rd birthday.
