Mrs. Amy Masso

Mrs. Masso has been teaching in the Glassboro School District since January 2005 after earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in special education at Rowan University. Her various teaching positions ranged from self-contained to inclusion classrooms which led her to find her passion in the position teaching students with multiple disabilities and lead teacher at Dorothy L. Bullock School. Mrs. Masso earned the Teacher of the Year award during her tenure as a special education teacher in both 2008 and 2020 and represented our district in the County Teacher of the Year competition in 2020.  Mrs. Masso continued her education through graduate school at Rowan University earning a Master’s Degree in School Administration with supervisor and principal certification in 2018 and transitioned to the role of Supervisor of Basic Skills in January of 2021. 

Amy was raised in Glassboro, New Jersey and attended Glassboro High School where her love for teaching blossomed through the enrichment courses she was enrolled in and the teachers who influenced and mentored her along the way.  Mrs. Masso continues to reside in her hometown of Glassboro with her husband, two daughters and two dogs.  She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and continuously learning!
