WELCOME TO COLLEGE PREP ENGLISH II
The main goal of this course is to develop critical thinking, reading, vocabulary, and writing skills through literature and current topics as well as create lifelong learners. Over the course of the semester, students in CP English II will read a variety of texts such as Night, Antigone, The Things They Carried, and a few short stories and plays. They will complete various written assignments that connect the literature to current issues as well as their own personal experiences. Students will learn a range of skills that will assist them in other academic classes, college, and future employment opportunities.
