Hello, my name is Michael Bittner and I am so excited to be the Physical Education Teacher at Bullock Elementary School. In 2011 I completed the post baccalaureate program at Rowan University through which I earned my K-12 Health and Physical Education Teaching Certificate. During my time at Rowan I student taught in Glassboro at Bullock and at the Intermediate School so I know firsthand the wonderful students, teachers, and staff that make up the Glassboro School District.

I am the proud parent of two boys, Tyler, a Camden County College graduate and Logan who is a high school senior. My wife is the superintendent of Haddon Heights school district and is my inspiration for becoming an educator. As a family we enjoying cooking (and eating) healthy meals and participating in many activities including: water parks, amusement parks, riding bikes, going to the park, hiking, camping, bowling, and shooting baskets, just to name a few.

My philosophy of physical education is to use best practices to engage students within a physically and emotionally safe environment. I use developmentally appropriate lessons to maximize learning opportunities for each student. Ultimately students will be challenged to take responsibility for their wellness and to seek out activities which will provide them with fun and fitness throughout their lives.

I look forward to working with your children to help them reach their full potential.
