• Who is Ms Coppola?
Ms Coppola has lived in South Jersey for her entire life. She is a graduate of Rowan University's Music Education program with a concentration in Bassoon/Instrumental Music and a minor in Dance. She enjoys teaching music because she loves playing and listening to all types of music and enjoys sharing her passion with others, especially her students!

    Musical Life:
Ms Coppola's main instrument is bassoon. She is currently a member of the South Jersey Pops Orchestra which performs four concerts per year. (More info on the "See Ms Coppola perform!" page!)

    Notable performances:
    - Ms Coppola is an INTERNATIONAL MUSICIAN, having traveled to Europe in the summer of 2022 to play her bassoon in Estonia and Sweden! She was part of "The Five Spires" woodwind quintet that accompanied the Rancocas Valley Regional High School choir from Mt. Holly, NJ and the Shephard Singers from New York, NY.
    - In the Summer of 2014, Ms Coppola performed with a Woodwind Quintet at the home of Congressman Patrick Kennedy for a private event.

    Extra-curricular Activities:
Ms Coppola loves doing yoga and leads yoga practices across the Southern NJ and Philadelphia area.
Growing up, she was a competitive gymnast and coached for many years before moving on to focus on her career as a music teacher.
She was also a marching band and color guard instructor (a combination of dancing and spinning, aka. "the thing with the flags and swords and wooden guns and stuff"). She has been participating in Marching Band since 2003 and started teaching in the summer of 2006. Her most recent marching band experience was with the Glassboro High School's marching band where she designed the color guard portions of the shows they perform for competition. (You may have seen the shows at GHS home football games during half time.)
