- 3rd grade Music classes (Dunner, Helm/Rorer, and Alleman/Giroux)

- 4th and 5th grade Music classes (all)

- World Language/World Cultures classes (Clark, Berman, Alleman/Giroux, Kundrotas)

- Band (Instrumental Music - woodwinds, brass, percussion)

***** Ms Johns is the Orchestra (Strings)director. She also teaches ALL 1st and 2nd grade classes, 3rd grade classes (Storey, Sauer/Pagan, Brown/Humes), and some World Language/World Cultures classes. rjohns@gpsd.us 

***** Mr. McCarrick is the Choir director. He also teaches Choir and Music Classes at Bowe Middle School. smccarrick@gpsd.us 

 

MUSIC CLASS and WORLD LANGUAGE/WORLD CULTURES:

***** Students will have Music Class one day per week for the entire school year. They will also have World Language/World Cultures with one of the Special Area teachers on Fridays.

***** Many assignments and activities for 4th & 5th graders will be posted in Schoology.

 

Band/Orchestra Applications:

Fourth and fifth graders are eligible to learn how to play an instrument and join band/orchestra. Registration closed on September 27. Lessons are starting soon for those who were accepted.

Choir:

Choir will meet one day per week after school. Third, fourth, and fifth graders are eligible to be in Choir. Registration for choir has now closed!

 

WINTER CONCERT 2024:

Choir, Band, and Orchestra will share the stage of the GHS Auditorium on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The show will start at 7pm. It is free, and all are welcome to attend and hear the music of our wonderful students!
