    Physical Education Policy for 2024- 2025 school year

     

     
    The purpose of the following policy is to inform all students and parents of the rules and procedures of the Physical Education Program. 

     

    1.  In order for students to participate in P.E., they must have sneakers that are securely fastened on their feet at all times without exception.  This is to prevent students from unnecessarily injuring their toes, feet, and ankles at any time.  If a student does not wear sneakers during class, then that student will not be able to participate in P.E. class.  This will be reflected in the student’s grade due to not following proper procedures.  
     

    2.      Most jewelry will not be permitted at any time in P.E. class.  If a student chooses to wear jewelry to school on P.E. days, then they are responsible for that jewelry once they remove it for P.E. class.  Small, stud type earrings will be the only type of jewelry that will be permitted in class.

     

    3.     All students will be expected to participate in every P.E. class unless he/she has a written note from a parent/guardian or their doctor.  The student will then be sent to the school nurse for a valid P.E. excuse.
