    Our geometry course has four major themes:

    • Congruence & Constructions 

      • Geometry Essentials, Reasoning, Parallel/Perpendicular, Congruent Triangles, Transformations

    • Congruence, Similarity, & Proof

      • Triangle Relationships, Similarity, Quadrilaterals

    • Trigonometric Ratios & Geometric Equations

      • Right Triangles, Circles

    • Geometric Modeling 

      • Measurement of Figures and Solids



    Other themes include:

    • Promoting Conceptual Understanding

    • Supporting Perseverance in Problem Solving

    • Providing Opportunities for Relevance



    Course Fun Facts:

    • Students will prepare for the NJ-GPA (NJ Graduation Proficiency Assessment), taken in grade 11.

    • Students are encouraged to place their cell phones in the designated area.

    • School Policies Apply (Curriculum, Grading, Attendance, Discipline, SmartPass, etc)

    • Students and their parents/guardians are encouraged to contact Ms. R with questions or concerns.
