GOOD MORNING Y'ALL!

I'm Mrs. Contrevo, Director of Choral Activities here at GHS. I received her BM in Vocal Music Education and BA in Subject Matter Teaching from Rowan University (‘15), and I am currently pursuing my Masters in Music Education at Messiah University. I most recently had the honor of conducting the All South Jersey Choir in January 2024. This is my 10th year of teaching, having spent the first three years of my career at Mary F. Janvier School in Franklinville before settling into my gig here in 2018.

At GHS, I direct the Select Choir and Concert Choir. I also teach Music Theory and Piano, vocal direct the Spring Musical, and serve as the advisor of Tri-M Music Honors Society. Our choirs have earned superior ratings at choral festivals and perform in a wide variety of school and community events throughout the year.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, long walks on the beach, and unapologetically binge-watching trash television. I can typically be found indulging in a giant cup of coffee or wandering aimlessly around Target. Or both, actually. I live in Woolwich Township with my husband, Chris, and our two wonderfully feisty daughters, Aurelia and Adelina.
